Brand Executive - Eye Wear
Job details
The main purpose of the role is to deliver sales revenue and profits for the assigned brand, with the right mix and turnover of stocks, with the support of the sales and marketing division. Moreover, develop & ensure the implementation of a sales plan for maximum brand penetration and profitability. You will focus on listening to the market trends and requirements, bringing those into the products, and then ensuring the correct positioning and visibility in the markets with the marketing tools and strategies. Responsibilities:
- Managing brand principal relationships holistically - product/marketing/brand information/trainings/new launches etc.
- Knowledge of Eyewear fashion trends and product selection.
- Knowledge/aptitude of managing luxury brands/accessories.
- Managing the buying cycle, order placement for brands with effective management of the OTB (Open-To-Buy).
- Generating the required purchase orders, following up on the back orders.
- Managing the assigned portfolio of brands with a complete understanding of the travel retail, wholesale, mono retail, multi-brand retail, and e-commerce business environment.
- Maintaining the sample sets, showcasing the same to customers, working on the commercials to be offered, pushing the right collection during customer selection and order process.
- Working on the new customer registration, sales orders, invoices, credit notes, and maintaining the SOA.
- Managing the inventory, ensuring the right product is available at the right point of sale at the right time, periodically identifying slow-movers and planning to liquidate the same.
- Managing the overall brand/product lifecycle right from product selection to sales to the end customer.
- Minimizing risks of overstocking or stockouts, maintaining brand reputation and profitability.
- Forecasting sales and formulating the brand budgets.
- Monitoring the sales targets and purchases for the assigned brand portfolio across the various markets/channels.
- Developing required reports to be shared with principals, senior leadership & finance.
- Driving marketing initiatives (Promotions, Incentives) for the respective brands with the support of the in-house marketing team.
- Developing displays & highlighters for brands as per available spaces with retailers and retailer’s requirements.
- Supporting retailers with regular visual and branding updates.
- Developing training presentations for each brand and sharing the same with the L&D department.
- Ensuring proper training of store staff for respective brands.
- Visiting retail stores to ensure the brand is given its due visibility and merchandising guidelines are implemented.
- Managing defectives and service requests from customers.
- Managing defectives from the suppliers.
- Coordination with Sales Reps to grow the business.
- Working closely with the Travel Retail team for eyewear needs.
- Close coordination with the warehouse team for incoming shipments/dispatches.
- Coordination with Finance department for approvals/budgets/pricing etc.
- Bachelor's degree; MBA would be preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years experience managing brands across multiple markets. Experience in Eyewear is essential.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.

- Strategic thinker able to identify long-term perspectives.
