Job details

To conduct lean awareness, promote lean construction culture, develop VSM, setup implementation of lean application, develop standardization and rollout lean implementation to achieve goal on reduction of waste. Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting lean awareness roadshow and facilitating Lean to all levels in the organization as well as to external audiences.
Manage the effort to support organizational LEAN implementation.
Administer the baseline assessments of LEAN application (including target sheets, 5S achievement, education and training needs, KAIZEN implementation, and Standard Work implementation); facilitate reporting of KAIZEN metrics into Visibility and Story Boards.
Track participants to team lead and apply LEAN concepts in their respective work areas.
Promote lean culture through campaigns, advertisements, etc. in all projects.
Build and enhance quality management systems focused on client satisfaction, business process standardization, reliability, and effectiveness.
Coach and support project teams with implementation of the basic Lean tools and continuous improvement programs.
Teach, practice, develop & improve the company Lean methodology.
Lead and train Engineers and Superintendents to run effective Planning sessions, weekly Planning sessions, and Daily Stand-up sessions through a lead/co-facilitate/coach model.
Challenge project team members and employees to identify, remove and resolve constraints that prevent the team from fulfilling commitments.
Develop Lean improvement initiatives which achieve project deliverables.
Facilitate Lean events (structured team problem-solving activities).
Create and issue reports:

Use process mapping and value flow analysis when appropriate.
Deliver stable/steady improvement with standard work and simple/visual controls.
Maintain level of standards of lean tools used among the project’s team.
Serve as an ongoing resource for assigned projects and employees to help identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop VSM for each cost breakdown structure (CBS) in coordination with operation and cost control.
Setup control and Implementation of lean application for each activity.
Develop standardization of each activity.
Roll out lean implementation.
Keep developing standards to achieve goal, reduce waste and increase value.
Implement cost control policy and procedures.
Support in conducting case studies.
Support in Cost Induction - Lesson Learned – Good/Bad and implementation in coordination with Cost Control Accountant and QA/QC.
Support in collaboration for Pull Planning, input resources target and monitoring.
Ad-hoc duties and reports as and when required by the Management.

Budget & Cost Control Orientation: Control cost in his area of responsibility and identify ways to reduce it. Process Improvement & Management Systems: Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and procedures in your area of responsibility. Team Management & Development: Lead & manage the team to make more efficient and effective use of the human resources to achieve departmental and organizational goals. Desired Candidate Profile:

10+ Years (Construction)
Strong analytical thinking skills
Well-developed influencing skills
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English

Ability to enthuse others to seek and implement improvements
