Job details

Create software design specifications and associated documentation for solutions. Development of PLC code in line with ISO procedures and defined standards. Liaising with other Engineers on implementation of SCADA software. Use of PLC programming software for Schneider, Allen Bradley, Siemens. Training of technicians on the use of applications once implemented. Maintain consistency of quality throughout all projects. Ability to work to deadlines. Detailed experience in PLC automation & HMI and experience in electrical control wiring and logic. Maintenance of projects once implemented.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in PLC solutions with a minimum of 2 of the following: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi. Demonstrable experience in controls systems design and application. SCADA – Ignition, Citect, InTouch or similar. Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Manager. Networks: Ethernet/IP, Profibus, DeviceNet, ControlNet. Well-developed formal and oral communication and reporting skills to all levels in an organization. Highly organized work approach within a multi-tasking environment. Hands-on experience with servo drives and motion controllers (Delta, SEW, Schneider). Hands-on experience with VB programming.
