Job Title: Assistant Outlet Manager Reports to: Outlet Manager Job Description:

  1. Assists the Outlet Manager in preparing the annual operating budget in conjunction with the Director of F&B and Assistant F&B Manager.
  2. Helps maximize profitability of the restaurant and room service.
  3. Ensures that staff understand company policies and standards.
  4. Assists in analyzing menus and products of competitive restaurants and room service.
  5. Supports the Outlet Manager in recruiting, training, and evaluating employees.
  6. Inspects the physical condition of furniture and decorations.
  7. Checks the tidiness and cleanliness of staff, ensuring grooming standards are implemented.
  8. Ensures timely submission of the Daily bar inventory and par report against restaurant or bar sales report at the end of each shift.
  9. Conducts daily briefing and de-briefing for assigned functions.
  10. Prepares effective duty roster to ensure sufficient manpower according to business volume.
  11. Communicates effectively with guests, subordinates, and other section heads.
  12. Prepares daily cover count and revenue report for the outlet.
  13. Attends daily F&B briefing and meetings in the absence of the Outlet Manager.
  14. Administers personnel actions, including leaves, overtime requests, disciplinary actions, and commendations.
  15. Identifies and solves service problems professionally and handles guest complaints.
  16. Reports and controls breakage and losses in the assigned outlet.
  17. Implements cost-saving procedures in electricity, operating supplies, and other controllable costs.
  18. Knows and understands all food and beverage policies and procedures for correct implementation.
  19. Follows control procedures in food and beverage cost and cashiering.
  20. Promotes guest satisfaction in the outlet.
  21. Receives and handles booking inquiries and special arrangements.
  22. Controls requisition points and par stock levels for beverage, food, and guest supplies in the outlet.
  23. Coaches and counsels captains, bartenders, and waiters effectively.
  24. Motivates a strong team within the outlet section.
  25. Communicates openly with service personnel and keeps them informed of important information.
  26. Performs other duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager, Director of F&B, or F&B Manager.
