Position: Engineering Host – Electrical Engineering Host – Electrical is responsible to assist in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in line with organizational and safety standards. As a Engineering Host – Electrical in our Engineering department, you will respond promptly to guest requests in a professional and hospitable manner while maintaining a professional appearance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Respond promptly to system malfunctions and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Provide reports on the performance and condition of equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and organizational guidelines.
  • Participate in risk assessments and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with engineers on system designs, modifications, and testing.
  • Provide technical support during the development and implementation of new projects.
  • Suggest improvements for system efficiency and reliability.
  • Keep updated on industry advancements and incorporate best practices into work processes.

Qualifications

  • ITI/ Polytechnic/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an electrical technician role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
  • Knowledge of electrical control systems.
  • Familiarity with automation systems and instrumentation is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments (e.g., confined spaces, elevated locations).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and overtime as needed.
