The Role Job Objective:

  • To assist Senior Finance Manager in the core financial accounting and management reporting function, tax compliance, reporting, and strategy.
  • To carry out feasibility studies, market research, and other financial analyses.
  • To coordinate with subsidiaries for monthly financial closing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To coordinate with all concerned and prepare the monthly accounts with schedules, and carry out periodic updates and follow-ups.
  • To coordinate with subsidiaries (ICH & others) and prepare consolidated trial balance, P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet in coordination with SFM and ensure accounts closing timetable is followed.
  • To coordinate with respective departments and prepare the best achievable forecast for the period.
  • To attend to external & internal audit requirements and review the accounting policies and procedures, suggesting updates in line with IFRS and business requirements.
  • To assist in Microsoft Dynamics AX issues / ERP implementation, coordinating with IT on associated tasks.
  • Other ad-hoc reporting & presentations for management.
  • Perform other tasks closely related to the position, as assigned by Line Manager/HOD.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, rules, and procedures related to Health, Safety, and Environmental Management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or business studies.
  • CA/CPA or equivalent.
  • Master’s Degree in Business Management/Administration is highly desirable.
Experience:
  • IFRS & UAE VAT/CIT technical knowledge.
  • 5 years of experience in the Real Estate/Construction industry or reputed audit firms.
  • Working experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX & report preparation skills.
  • Experience in feasibility studies, financial modelling & analysis are desirable.
