Work Shop Manager at Middle East Mining and Minerals Co, Fujairah

Job Description:

The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop floor, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role involves managing a team of technicians and mechanics, coordinating workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting Service Engineer to diagnose equipment problems and determine repairs needed.

Determining vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.

Correcting vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.

Performing other related duties as required.

Attending site repair jobs of clients and carrying out hydraulic repair jobs.

Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensuring that the work done is satisfactory.

Writing service reports.

Performing any other duties assigned by the managers.

Involved with the maintenance of hire equipment as and when required.

Assisting the Truck Repair Section.

Requirements:

Must have experience in heavy-duty equipment like CAT, KOMATSU, VOLVO.

Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.

Determine the extent of repair required.

Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.

Test repaired equipment for proper performance.

Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.

Analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduation in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma.

Workshop Manager for HEMM with a minimum of 5 years experience with heavy-duty CAT, KOMATSU, VOLVO mining dumpers, excavators, or wheel loaders.

Work experience in mining crushers is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED 4,000.00 - AED 5,500.00 per month

Accommodation, transportation, and food provided by the company at site.
