PURPOSE

The Human Resource System Analyst will sit within our IT team and plays a critical role in maintaining the efficiency of the region's human resource systems and processes. This involves gathering business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and providing technical support to ensure the optimal functioning of HR systems. The HR System Analyst also collaborates with HR stakeholders to identify and address business needs, ensuring that HR systems align with group's objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with functional users and decision makers. This role will be for a fixed term period of 12 months.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analyse, evaluate, and improve the functionality and performance of HR systems, including HR management software, payroll, performance management, digital signatures, service requests, document management, and reporting.
Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather system requirements and identify areas for system enhancement to improve overall HR processes.
Design and implement system enhancements, configurations, and customizations through system updates, testing, and troubleshooting.
Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring proper system usage and resolving any system-related issues.
Develop and maintain HR system documentation, including user manuals, process maps, system configurations, and training materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and HR, to implement system integrations and data migrations.
Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security, identifying and addressing potential risks or issues proactively.
Stay up-to-date with emerging HR technology trends and best practices to suggest improvements and innovative solutions to HR processes.
Manage system projects from conception to completion, including planning, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
Collaborate with HR stakeholders to analyze and report on HR data and metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex HR processes and translate them into system requirements.
Proficiency in HR systems and software, such as HR management systems, performance management, document management, and payroll systems.
Solid understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee data management, and benefits administration.
Technical expertise in system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, with knowledge of programming languages and database management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Knowledge
Knowledge of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and their implications on HR systems.
Knowledge of SQL, XML, or other programming languages is a plus.
Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations related to HR systems.
Experience
Previous experience as an HR System Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
Working experience and knowledge in the gulf region (GCC) localisation requirements is essential.
Experience in system implementation and support, including system testing and end-user training.
Qualifications and Skillset
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
Certification or relevant training in HR systems is preferred.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information appropriately.

Working Conditions
The role will be based from our Cognita Regional Office based in Media City Dubai.
SALARY
The salary is commensurate with the requirements of the role and the skills and experience of the candidate.
