This function is in charge of delivering communications actions for external and internal communications across the MEA & KSA regions to reinforce Thales' image and thought leadership towards its customers in all markets externally, supporting the external communications managers in terms of press relations, content, reporting, events, and exhibitions.The person sometimes works on internal content and campaigns for different regions and countries.The function is responsible for developing Thales's brand and BL expertise awareness, promoting products, services, and technologies through communications actions and tools with a focus on content creation, digital, and social media. Advising Country Management on communications tactics and opportunities to contribute to customer intimacy.Missions:The MEA & KSA & CA regional Communications specialist's role deploys external, content & digital communications actions in the regions and countries. He/she creates an editorial calendar and messages that reflect the regions' business and communications objectives and vision in line with the group's strategy.Her main role is to support the external communications manager and the communications director in some of the actions related to internal comms and others - if needed.ResponsibilitiesExecute regions & countries digital strategy (externally and internally) in coordination with counterparts in Business Lines (BLs), Business partners, countries, and Corporate.Bring recommendations and advice in terms of digital strategy to your network.Accelerate the digital transformation of the digital activity with strong challenges to maintain contact with external and internal audiences such as customers and employees.Active role in the building and promotion of Thales' content strategy (externally and internally) in collaboration with Business Lines (BLs), Business partners, countries, and Corporate.Implement and manage the editorial calendar.Execute defense and civil-related communications campaigns and coordinate with the press relations and events managers.Participate in design and deploy campaigns in full coordination with press and events.Accountable for defining and building up an integrated campaign including the coordination aspects with all stakeholders.Creates and implements long-term brand communications actions that reflect the regions' and countries' strategic vision.Define and implement the roadmap and retroplanning.Help in the creation of agency briefings.Support internal communications campaigns in line with the regions' and countries' strategies and coordinate with the events manager when related to an event - if needed.Define & contribute to the employee advocacy campaign on social networks externally.Manage different tools such as Buzzworthy, Hootsuite, Knowledge Box, etc.Support external and internal digital & content projects.Create and maintain the content updated on the platforms by delivering cost-effective services.Ensure the development and management of multimedia & digital content (videos, photos, leaflets, factsheets, country presentations…) as well as the production of editorial content for publication on the website, intranet, or social networks, using efficient tools like Knowledge Box.Manage and update countries and regions webpages as per region and corporate priorities.Ensure the efficiency and optimization of the platforms (presentations, factsheets, and digital campaigns) to support the business and increase the Group's reputation in MEA & KSA.Creation of multimedia content and coordinate projects milestones.Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time respecting our business partners' requirements.Speech and customer letters writer - Only related to communications projects.Support the external comms manager for events and exhibitions in coordination with the events and press relations managers.Support in the deployment of all social media actions and campaigns.Assess the competition and support the regional director to implement communications tactics towards customers to counterpart competitions.Prepare the press reports and deal with the monitoring agency.Define and manage the budget including the management of SAP tools (PR, PO).Reports to the regional external communications manager.QualificationsSolid experience, agility, and knowledge of content and digital communications including strategy planning, reporting, editorial calendar, digital tools, copywriting, briefing documents for agencies (social media, audiovisual, etc.).Ability to travel in the region and in Europe.Demonstrated experience designing and implementing content and digital communications.Master's Degree/ Bachelor in communications, audiovisual, political science, with several years of experience in Communication in a global company.Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in dedicated content, digital, or communications agency.Good oral, written, and visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences.Know how to create messaging and content for all channels, including digital, using agile practices.Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across the organization, facilitating constructive teamwork and creativity.Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and subsequently develop clear communications with minimal guidance.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Effective communication skills with various stakeholders at all levels.Well-developed planning and organizational skills while working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects.Ability to work under pressure.Well-developed interpersonal and team skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.Excellent oral and written English and Arabic language skills preferred, French a plus.Comfortable receiving and integrating feedback from various stakeholders.At Thales, we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
