Purchase Executive (General Purchase)
Job details
We are hiring a Purchase/ Procurement Officer for General Purchase items. Job Description:
- Sourcing Suppliers : Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and equipment necessary for food production.
- Negotiation : Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company while maintaining quality standards.
- Supplier Relationship Management : Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and timely delivery of goods.
- Inventory Management : Monitoring inventory levels and managing procurement schedules to ensure that adequate supplies are available to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.
- Cost Management : Continuously seeking cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, process improvements, and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Quality Assurance : Collaborating with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that all procured materials meet the company's quality and safety standards.
- Compliance : Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing food production, safety, and procurement practices.
- Risk Management : Identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and supplier dependencies.
- Data Analysis : Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement processes.
- Continuous Improvement : Continuously seeking opportunities to improve procurement processes, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Do you have experience in General Purchase? (Packaging material, stationery etc?)
- Do you have experience in Local Purchase in UAE?
