Lucid Motors is searching for a Sr. Network Engineer for its Casa Grande area facilities who can oversee the implementation of equipment, maintain each component of the network, and troubleshoot issues. The network engineer will be responsible for monitoring the network firewall, assessing the functionality of the network routers, ensuring all internet security software is updated regularly and maintaining the company phone and video conferencing systems DUTIESSupport the development of industrial network standards.Work with the team on establishing network design principles, practices, implementations, documentation, and maintenance procedures.Support the execution, deployment, and integration of industrial networks in the plant to include all network-related hardware and software.Ensure system up time and backup for network-related equipment.Work closely with engineering to help report issues, lead project deliverables, and provide status and progress reports.Collaborates with network architects to design and implement functional company networksEstablishes networking environment by installing, configuring, testing, and documenting the equipment/network systems according to the design and specificationsLeads the performance of day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability within minimal interruptionSupport Network security team as requiredReport status of projects during regular team meetingsSustain the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring networking activity and maintaining existing equipmentQuickly respond and resolve incidents and requests.Initiates and completes technical activities related to product or process improvement. Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings.Maintain the company phone and video conferencing systems and work closely with the service provider to keep the lines activeRespond to network connectivity issues and resolve any wireless communication issues within the confines of the officeCollaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operationalAutomate tasks and monitor their effectivenessRequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field or relevant experience.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field10+ years' experience as a network engineer in a fast-moving environmentExcellent knowledge of Service Desk, ITIL standards and its processesIT infrastructure operations, IT service management or IT business operations experienceHands on experience with Cisco and Aruba devicesWell versed in Collaboration solutions & Wireless solutionsTechnical knowledge of Cisco ISE end point solutionsPrevious work experience with Cisco, Aruba and ZoomAdvanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, NXOS and IOSFamiliarity with network analysis tools including SolarWinds, and Cisco DNAKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and lawsProven analytical and creative problem-solving abilitiesAble to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentBusiness level fluency in English required, other language knowledge is a plusExperience with the use of Network System Diagnostic programs and equipment like WireXpert, Cisco iOS, Net Scout, Wireshark, Spectrum Analyzer, Network loggers.Experience with analyzing data reports generated from diagnostic programs and equipmentManufacturing Engineering and Information Technology experience with an emphasis on Network Communication Standards (802.11 , EtherNet/IP, Profinet I/O, TCP/IP, QOS - Quality of Service)Familiar with TCP/IP, SNMP, switching and routing protocols.Familiar with Network Security protocols.Understanding of PLC communication and its effect on Ethernet networks.Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.Problem solving skills specific to Information Technology, network management and system designs.Stay up to speed on the latest at Lucid.Contact us to learnhow to digitalize your business
