Leads, designs and participates in mapping out data acquisition programs andanalyzes acquired data for petroleum engineering purposes. Makes technical recommendations to help informulating impacts on business proposals. Coaches and mentors junior engineers.ResponsibilitiesDUTY1 / effort % (025)Leads and oversees the work of a group of engineers. Under thiscapacity, coordinates andensures all related activities and tasks are efficiently completed.DUTY2 / effort % (020)Initiates and coordinates major petroleum engineering technical studiesand activities,and determines engineering methods and procedures to be used. Preparesreports oncompleted studies with recommendations and presentations to Managementfor feedback andendorsement.DUTY3 / effort % (015)Leads formulation of BP/OP plans for respective area.DUTY4 / effort % (010)Represents the organization in presentations to Executive Management inregard to newprojects, new technologies or field development strategies.DUTY5 / effort % (010)Initiates proposals for projects to be conducted by service providers(vendors) and actsas a project's liaison.
