Job details

- Leading and managing a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain aircraft systems and components - Overseeing all engineering activities related to aircraft design, certification, testing, and production - Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices - Developing and implementing engineering processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and quality - Collaborating with other departments to integrate engineering solutions into overall aircraft design and production processes - Providing technical expertise and guidance to support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts - Monitoring industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and continuous improvement in aircraft engineering practices To excel in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field - Extensive experience in aircraft engineering, with a focus on design, development, and certification - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of engineers - Excellent problem-solving abilities and a practical approach to tackling complex engineering challenges - In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, materials, and manufacturing processes - Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in aircraft engineering Overall, as an aircraft Chief Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the engineering activities that support the development and maintenance of safe, efficient, and innovative aircraft designs.
