Overview

We are is seeking a valve Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering Project Support Group of the Consulting Services Department (CSD). CSD provides Saudi Aramco with effective specialized engineering consultations and introduces viable technologies and maintains quality standards. The Mechanical Eng. Project Support Group provides project support, technical consultations and maintains standards on issues related to all types of valves.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Act as the company's valve engineer dealing with other Saudi Aramco departments.
  • Conduct design, performance evaluation, monitoring and trouble-shooting of valves issues.
  • Evaluate valve manufacturer's technical capabilities and assess manufacturing deviations to Company specifications
  • Develop and maintain Saudi Aramco's engineering standards and design best practices to enhance company profitability, safety and productivity.
  • Evaluate and introduce best practice and emerging technologies related to valves from all over the world to help the company achieve best in class positions in the oil business.
  • Develop and deliver both classroom and practical valve training for operators and engineers.
  • Develop ideas for major technical studies or projects to be carried out by less senior engineers.
  • Promote a learning environment and implement self-development to maintain and improve expert status in highly specialized technical and general engineering fields.
  • Deliver technical presentations and write papers in refereed engineering journals.
  • Actively participate in work of technical societies, and participate on specialized committees within appropriate groups.

Minimum Requirements

 

 

 

 

  • A Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering. A fundamental Engineer (F.E.) license.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experiences as a valves engineering (projects and operations).
  • Experienced in international standards related to all types of valves.
  • Experienced with the valve fabrication and installation.
