The ideal candidatewill have previously held an administrative role for at least twoyears will be a clear proactive communicator and will be confidentworking on multiple projects at atime.RequirementsKEYRESPONSIBILITIESTheEvents Administrative Assistant will primarily be responsible forbut not limited to thefollowing:Adminassistance to support the events team across business and consumerbrands.Followingup with internal and external stakeholders making sure the eventsteam have everything they need to run a successful event andliaising with the Editorial and Commercial teams whererequired.Creatingmanaging and distributing forms and documents to track informationutilising Microsoft Excel andWord.Proactivelyreaching out to clients to boost ticketsales.Coordinatetravel arrangements including booking flights and cars forcolleagues and VIP guests along with arranging event deliveries.Conductpostevent followup with sponsors and attendees. Develop and execute an effectivecontent strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives andresonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and editarticles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuringaccuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorialstandards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developmentsto ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, includingindustry experts and partners, to enhance content quality andcoverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across variousplatforms, including the brand's website, social media channels,and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performancemetrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering aculture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications,English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorialexperience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbalcommunication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing,proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eyefor design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational andproject management skills. Proficient in using editorial softwareand tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms,content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywallexperience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes:Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to workeffectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
