We have been exclusively retained by one ofour prestigious clients based in UAE specializing in InvestmentFinancial Services and Technology to identify QuantitativeResearchers and Developers.This isan onsiteopportunity for QuantitativeResearchers and Developers Open to allNationalities.JobDescription:APhD in technology physics mathematics orsimilar.Previous exposure as a QuantitativeResearcher or Developer in Financial Services/ Investments is amust.All teams work collaborativelyin research and/or production squads to implement researchprototypes (FA SD T PO) and production applications (DC DPI/E).DataCuration Keyresponsibilities:manage vendors anddata trialscatalogue onboard & ingestraw data and assess data qualitystructurefrozen and live datasets for statistical analysis andproduction.FeatureAnalysis Keyresponsibilities:explore and identifystatistical patterns including modelspecificationdetermine the most importantfeatures and apply explainable AItechniquesisolate interaction effects andestimate generalizationerrorsStrategyDevelopment Keyresponsibilities:propose afalsifiable theory as to why an opportunity exists and islikely to continuedevelop aninvestment algorithm that monetizes theopportunityassess the profitability of thealgorithm under variousregimes/scenariosTestingKeyresponsibilitiespeerreview researchand assess the probability of a falsediscoveryensure research documentation iscomplete accurate andreproducibleindependently assess theprofitability of the investmentalgorithmvalidation of the causeeffectmechanism proposedcontrol for multipletestingDeployment Keyresponsibilities:productionize allmathematical prototypes developed and compute targetpositionsreproduce and accept the prototypedelivered by researchdevelop scientific codeand create reusable software applications out ofprototypesensure that production softwaredelivers the output intended by the researchprototypecompute target positions using livedata and predetermined allocations andconstraintsPortfolioOversight Keyresponsibilities:conduct graduationthrough paper trading and into livetradingcalculate risk and performanceattribution (outofsample)monitor strategyperformance and calculate strategyallocationsPortfolioImplementation & Execution Keyresponsibilities:executing the tradesto shift the current portfolio towards the targetportfoliominimize execution cost impact delayand other riskscoordinate the booking andreconciliation oftradesInvestmentTechnology Keyresponsibilities:administrationmaintenance and operation of productionservicessecuring and monitoring research andproduction systemsenabling secured access toconfidential informationwriting andmaintaining core generalpurpose software that can be used as thefoundations of research prototypes and productionapplications.Remote Work : No INT
