Job Summary:As a Project Manager working in a multi-functional project management consultancy team within projects of different disciplines and complexities, you will have hands-on experience of working with client teams in a collaborative and integrated manner. You will be required to deliver our projects following the requirements of the EGEC Business Management System, as well as to meet client requirements.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Lead in the development of high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring. Ensure regular feedback is shared with staff including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.Develop and improve upon assigned client relationships fostering a "trusted advisor" status.Understand and administer EGEC's contract and subcontract agreements.Provide leadership to positively influence change.Promote EGEC's involvement in the community to help build strategic relationships and to embrace the community in which we live and work.Foster and enhance architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.Manage budget and financial reporting, interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.Understand, comply and advise others on EGEC's business ethics and compliance programs.Demonstrate high standard of persona; accountability and integrity. Mentor staff to the same high standards.Manage and oversee field operation and engineering processes and procedures.Drive competencies to team on requirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.Drive enforcement of safety protocols by the project staff.Work with Finance to initiate the Pay Application process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timely manner.Keep management informed on progress for project and budget through regularly scheduled Operations Review Meetings.Support and drive utilization of various EGEC initiatives. Promote and utilize emerging technologies and innovations to support Tuner sustainable competitive advantages.Provide leadership to foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.Assist in establishing robust processes and procedures to manage the project, in consultation and engagement with our commercial and administration departmentsDeliver necessary periodic project reports, to allow senior managers to direct the project appropriatelyCollate, format and distribute information to support program requirements. Cascade to internal and external parties where appropriate.Assist in the maintenance and creation of program governance documentation in accordance with the company BMS.Support the Risk and Issue management procedure of the project and check that the risk register is updated accordingly.Support the delivery of consistent quality management procedures and standards for the programSupport the Project Manager to facilitate effective resource management across the programSupport the Change Management Procedure for the project and ensure the change control log is updated accordingly.Facilitate effective planning of the works within the project team.Deliver necessary periodic project reports, to allow senior managers to direct the project appropriately.Deliver information regarding changes and delays that have impacted the project on a period by period basis and propose how these should be resolved / managed.Provide support to management for all Program Office functions ensuring that issues within the Program are highlighted and understoodFacilitate effective planning of the works within the project teamEnsure all company safety, quality, environmental, commercial and project management procedures are followed as relevant to tasks undertakenSkills :1. Reporting & DocumentationQualifications :Degree, in relevant engineering or management discipline.UPDA GradeA* with15+* years of experience in Project Management.Chartered (or approaching) Membership of a relevant professional body.Experience of working in major projects with proven Client-side project delivery (design or construction)Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and construction estimating software.
