Study, evaluate Manufacturer of materials / inspect materials used for main laying waterworks under KM or RA-PWA or any other Governments Organization, Industrial & Private Sectors ,etc. in order to insure their compliance with latest Kahramaa general specifications for mainlaying materials.Control the examination of materials for water works under the jurisdiction of Kahramaa in the State of Qatar.Evaluate Manufacturer / proposed Material product technically as per the requirements of latest General Specs of Material.Revises / Updates the "KAHRAMAA" General specifications for mainlaying materials, periodicallyPrepare technical specifications of materials for water works in coordination with concerned departments internally (within Kahramaa departments) and externally (governmental agencies, private sectors, and industrial sectors).Studies, evaluate, and recommend materials and manufacturers to the tender evaluation teams under Kahramaa for future projects in the State of Qatar.Inspects materials supplied by the Contractor/Supplier against various projects running under Kahramaa, Ashghal , QP ,etc. ,prior to acceptance at projects sites.Inspection returned materials at Kahramaa warehouse.Prepares regular reports on progress of works to his Head and discussed topics with concerned engineers and respective Heads.Factory visits to monitor Quality Control & Quality Assurance prior to the approval of materials before shipment in case of bulk deliveries.Attends seminars/conference related to materials. Apply new methods / techniques appropriate to the current practice and procedures. Conducts research for any existing materials in case of defect upon the request of Material Standard Engineer / Head of Section.Performs other related duties as needed upon request by the immediate supervisor. English - Very Good Arabic - Fluent / Excellent Own a CarAnyHave Driving LicenseAny Job Skills Education: Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, and Chemical)Work Experience: Minimum 8 years experience, 4 years of it in similar capacity.Other Requirements:Must have sound spoken/written communication.Able to develop technical reportsDesirable to be a corporate member of a recognized Engineering Institution.Motivation, problem solving and team building & supportFully literate with relevant softwareThis position requires extensive traveling between venues/depots during normal working hours.
