Job Description:The role reports to the Head of Engineering (Chief Engineer) and the V&V Lead Engineer and is responsible for the system verification and validation of a large security system after its deployment. This includes the acceptance process with the customer. The role is based in Riyadh, but frequent travel to locations in Saudi Arabia is required. Occasional international travel is also expected.Person Specifications:The successful candidate shall hold the following required qualifications and should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Bachelor's or Master degree in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or related fieldExperience in the Verification and Validation (V&V) of systems and familiar with the applicable INCOSE and international system engineering standardsExperience in the writing of test procedures and test reportsExperience in the detailed planning of work and deliverablesExperience with IT based systemsAbility to work in a customer-oriented environment and within the cultural environment of Saudi ArabiaAnalytical thinking and Strong engineering mindsetAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesStrong listening skills (to understand customer requirements)Strong service orientation and on-time delivery focusCost, Quality and Time sensitivenessAct as Team player and being cooperativeUsed to work solution orientedFlexible (willingness to travel to remote sensor sites)Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; ability to effectively explain complex technical conceptsExperience with IT/COMs SystemsRealization / Knowledge of the SCADA SYSTEM and NMS SYSTEM Essential to be fluent in written and spoken EnglishDesirable to be able to communicate in ArabicBenefitial Qualifications and Experience:Have a strong engineering background working on large integration projectsExperience in working with direct interface to the customerHave worked with a broad range of information technology systems e.g. Networking, Storage, Server, Virtualization, System/Network administration etc.Detailed experience in relevant Information Technology and communication solutions.Driving licenseKey Result Areas & Areas Of Accountability:Realisation of L2 (system) and L3 (software) requirements into valid test cases / test procedures for conduction of system integrationRealisation of equipment integration requirements into valid test cases/test procedures for conduction of equipment integration testsExecution of test procedures at testing facilities (system integration lab) and delivery sites and evaluation of test resultsPreparation of test documentation (test procedures, problem reports, test reports) during test campaigns and conduction of reviews for test documentationPerform the verification and validation activities at system level for system/ customer releases, dedicated test campaigns like load, stress, performance testsUse different tools and methods for all kind of V&V tasks like DOORS, Jira, Quality Center, Jenkins, Python, Powershell, Batchfiles and JavascriptProblem reporting, including the collection of material to support root-cause analysisTrack bugs and perform retesting of fixed issues, interacting very close with the involved development teamPlay an active role in terms of verification inside development teams and drive the verification and release of software releases or featuresAct self-sustained and as a team playerThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company:Airbus Defence and Space Saudi LimitedEmployment Type:Fixed term-------Experience Level:ProfessionalJob Family:Sub-system development By submitting your CV or application you are consenting to Airbus using and storing information about you for monitoring purposes relating to your application or future employment.
