Overview

Saudi Aramco is seeking for an experienced Facility Maintenance Engineer to work in Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) / Planning and Technical Services Division having an experience in facility maintenance. Candidate should have excellent experience in design and oversee the construction of facilities, ensuring they are functional, efficient, and safe. Candidate must have experience in develop and implement maintenance strategies such as predictive and preventive maintenance for all facilities and equipment. Candidate with experience in inspecting and repairing mechanical, electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety and regulations. Last but not the least candidates must ability to train and develop other young engineers.

MSSD has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset, which is the department's skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain Saudi Aramco's rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

 

 

  • Regularly inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues, defects, or potential hazards.
  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure their optimal functioning and longevity.
  • Diagnosing problems with equipment or systems and implementing appropriate solutions to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Responding to maintenance emergencies, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures, and taking prompt action to mitigate risks and minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment inventories to track performance and compliance.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for occupants and employees.
  • Assisting in the development of maintenance budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
  • Assessing the condition of equipment and recommending upgrades, replacements, or modifications to improve efficiency, reliability, or safety.
  • Providing training and guidance to junior engineers, quality inspectors and technicians.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing measures to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and optimize resource utilization.

 

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must have the following requirements:

 

 

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years' in maintenance as stipulated above.
  • Experience in design and oversee the construction of facilities, ensuring they are functional, efficient, and safe.
  • Experience in develop and implement maintenance strategies such as predictive and preventive maintenance for all facilities and equipment, inspecting and repairing mechanical, electrical systems and ensuring compliance with safety and regulations.
  • Excellent English reading and writing.
