Supervising the processes of building and consolidating a positive corporate image of the SNIH, defining its activities and objectives, and strengthening the institute's relationship with its internal and external audience through various media and social activities. Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Developing plans and programs for the department activities and implementing them after approval.
  • Applying systems, regulations, rules, and instructions approved in the department's work.
  • Coordinating with other administrative units in the SNIH to accomplish joint tasks.
  • Proposing policies and rules governing corporate communication activities in the institute and monitoring their implementation after approval.
  • Developing and implementing media plans after approval and working on updating and reviewing them.
  • Documenting links with organizations, institutions, and entities related to the SNIH's work and with members of the community through continuous media communication through all means.
  • Coordinating with media outlets in preparing media programs about the SNIH's activities, in collaboration with relevant administrative units.
  • Providing various media materials such as news, investigations, and journalistic reports about the SNIH's activities to different media outlets according to rules and instructions.
  • Ensuring media coverage for conferences, seminars, and meetings organized or participated in by the SNIH.
  • Monitoring publications about the SNIH in newspapers and modern media outlets and responding to inquiries received in the media regarding the SNIH's activities.
  • Developing and implementing programs, materials, media campaigns, and exhibitions to introduce the SNIH.
  • Managing the content of the SNIH's website on the internet and monitoring its development with updates.
  • Managing and editing the SNIH's accounts on social media platforms, ensuring coherence and coordination between them and the website.
  • Ensuring uniformity of the external appearance (identity) on social media platforms.
  • Documenting the strategic relationship with influencers through media channels primarily via social media and maintaining it.
  • Conducting media research and surveys and analyzing content published on social media platforms regularly regarding the SNIH.
  • Issuing newsletters and institute magazines in coordination with relevant administrative units.
  • Preparation for press conferences held by officials in the institute.
  • Monitoring the protocol aspects of the CEO's activities and coordinating them with relevant authorities.
  • Organizing ceremonies and protocols related to welcoming the CEO’s guests, as well as their participation in official programs, activities, and meetings inside and outside the headquarters in coordination with the CEO's office.
  • Preparation and implementation of ceremonial plans for all events organized by the SNIH such as conferences, seminars, meetings, as well as official visits of delegations and individuals.
  • Caring for due diligence regarding the SNIH’s guests at airports according to international customs and preparing suitable schedules and venues for their visits and accommodations in coordination with relevant administrative units in the institute.
  • Providing services and facilities for senior officials when traveling for specific missions.
  • Providing media and communication opinion, advice, and assistance to all administrative units in the institute on matters related to their work.
  • Studying the difficulties and challenges hindering the workflow in the corporate communication department to overcome and solve them.
  • Participation in the preparation of a work procedures guide for all activities and tasks in the field of management expertise in coordination with the Corporate Excellence Department.
  • Setting performance standards for all activities related to management activities in coordination with the Corporate Excellence Department and working on their continuous review and development.
  • Identifying the administration's needs for human resources, equipment, tools, software, and others, and following up on their provision.
  • Supervising the updating and organization of records, data, and statistics related to management activities, preserving them, and utilizing technological capabilities in processing them.
  • Preparing periodic reports on management activities, achievements, and suggestions for performance improvement.
  • Any other tasks assigned within the scope of work.
Minimum Educational Qualifications and Work Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Public Relations, Communication and Media, or any other relevant field related to the job with 12+ years of experience.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Full understanding of the SNIH's objectives, directions, and strategic plans.
  • Knowledge of the principles and concepts related to public relations, communication, and media work.
  • Complete knowledge of the modern systems, regulations, and methods in public relations, ceremonies, and media.
  • Knowledge of administrative organization, goals, and functions of administrative units in the institute.
  • Knowledge of the media policy of the kingdom and official and diplomatic protocols.
  • Ability to prepare, arrange, organize, and schedule visits and meetings.
  • Ability to act and confront emergency situations.
  • Ability to act, judge matters, adopt appropriate opinions, and positions.
  • Ability to supervise and follow up.
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate.
  • Ability to prepare studies, reports, and media evidence.
  • Proficiency in English language speaking and writing.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with others and maintain them.
