Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Driver to join our team at (Company Name). The Heavy Duty Driver will be responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles, particularly within the oil industry, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods.Responsibilities:Safely operate and drive heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods within the oil company's facilities and designated areas.Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while driving and handling hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.Load and unload goods onto trucks, ensuring proper securing and handling of cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit.Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.Follow designated routes and schedules, while making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changes in delivery requirements or traffic conditions.Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders during the delivery process.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Driver, preferably within the oil industry or a similar environment.Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols, particularly when handling hazardous materials.Ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles with precision and confidence, including manual transmission vehicles.
