JobSummaryPrepares all costs aspects ofcivil and building works on projects, from the inception to finalaccount. To ensure all expenditure is kept to a minimum and allrevenue is maximized as early as possible all without compromisingEmployer/Subcontractor relationship.JobAccountabilitiesPrincipalAccountabilities• Obtains and expands knowledgebase on all Civil and Building related matters as relate tospecific projects.• Maintainsrecords.• Administers subcontractors and use ofcompany procedures.• Follows up with siteconstruction team & technical team for collecting theprogress details.Roles &Responsibilities1. Management: obtains and expandsknowledge base on all QS related matters related to specificprojects. Through the achievement of this all commercial andcontractual matter• Ensures to manage ClientSite Instructions and Variation Orders• Ensuresthat payment application is submitted to the Employer, no laterthan the due date• Ensures that Cash Flow andBudget Preparation including regular monitoring at least once permonth• Ensures Contractual and CommercialSupport and Correspondence Letter Writing•Ensures the preparation of backup documentation and justificationrequired for Client Instructions and / or interimValuations.• Ensures to complete and submitmonthly cost value reconciliations, cost to complete reports andprofitability projections within 1 week of the Valuationsubmission2. Administration of Subcontractors and use ofcompany procedures• Ensures to placeSubcontracts on Standard approved terms and Templates, and at alesser amount as reflected in the allowable.•Ensures that all interim applications are received on time from theSubcontractors and included into KCT applications and submitted ontime to the Employer• Ensures that paymentcertificates for Subcontractors are valued no more than the valueapplied for or certified from the Client, and processed ontime• Ensures that all Packages preparation& Tendering Procedures are conformed with, and correctlycoordinated• Ensures all changes to the scopeof the works are accompanied by signed off Variation Orders andpayment / deduction is secured from the Client / Project Managerand Back to Back with the Main Contract•Ensures that Cost Reporting ( including costs to complete) andmonitoring at regular intervals monthly / bi-weekly/weekly• Ensures that Contractual andCommercial Support and Correspondence LetterWriting• Ensures to complete and submit monthlycost value reconciliations, cost to complete reports andprofitability projections within 1 week of the Valuationsubmission• Ensures to perform cost analysisand draw up reports on changes to works and contractor sclaims• Ensures preparation of Cash FlowAnalysis including regular monitoring on a monthlybasis• Ensures to inspect site for collation ofinformation for monthly statement which includes but not limited torecommendation on interim payments, statement of claims fromcontractor, anticipated claims from contractor and assessment ofcosts of works and expected final cost3.Close-Out• Ensures 100% accuracy of FinalAccount against Checklist4. General & OngoingResponsibilities• Ensures that all financial /commercial and Contractual Procedures have been compliedwith• Ensures meeting attendance, liaison andsupport provided to all UCC, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, &Consultants
