The Technical Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving technical sales efforts for the company. This role requires a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the products or services offered by the company and the ability to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential customers. The Sales Consultant will play a crucial role in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities 1. Conduct in-depth technical product/service presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value proposition. 2. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, develop sales strategies, and create customized solutions to meet client needs. 3. Act as a technical expert and advisor to clients, providing guidance on product/service selection, implementation, and integration into existing systems. 4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations to facilitate sales opportunities and promote customer loyalty. 5. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements. 6. Work closely with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and customer support, to address client inquiries, resolve technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. 7. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation in sales strategies. 8. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, consistently delivering results and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. Desired Candidate Profile Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred. - Proven experience in technical sales roles, with a track record of success in achieving sales targets and building client relationships. - Strong technical aptitude and understanding of complex products or services, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for customers. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools is a plus.
