• Conduct routine check-upstopatients to assess their health condition and discoverpossibleissues • Give appropriate advice for healthyhabits(diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promoteoverallhealth • Conduct examinations to illpatients and evaluatesymptoms to determine theircondition • Ask intuitivequestions to discovercauses of illness • Reach an informeddiagnosisbased on scientific knowledge and the patient'smedicalhistory • Prescribe and interpret lab teststoobtain more information for underlying infections orabnormalities• Prescribe medications or drugsand provide comprehensiveinstructions foradministration • Collaborate withotherphysicians, physician assistants and nurses to form ahighperforming medical team • Examine andprovidetreatments to injuries and refer patients to otherphysicians whenneeded (ophthalmologists, orthopedists,neurologistsetc.) • Keep records ofpatients'diseases, operations or other significantinformation (e.g.allergic episodes) • Cultivate a climateof trustand compassion for patients
