Job details
Prepare special meals orsubstitute items.Regulate temperature ofovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.Pullfood from freezer storage to thaw in therefrigerator.Ensure proper portion,arrangement, and food garnish.Maintain foodlogs.Monitor the quality and quantity of foodthat is prepared.Communicate assistance neededduring busy periods.Inform Chef of excess fooditems for use in daily specials.Inform Food& Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stockmenu items.Ensure the quality of the fooditems.Prepare and cook food according torecipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and foodpreparation checklist.Prepare coldfoods.Assist management in hiring, training,scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivatingand coaching employees; serve as a rolemodel.Follow all company and safety andsecurity policies and procedures; report maintenance needs,accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;complete safety training andcertifications.Ensure uniform and personalappearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality ofproprietary information; protect companyassets.Anticipate and address guests serviceneeds.Speak with others using clear andprofessional language.Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others; support team to reachcommon goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns ofother employees.Ensure adherence to qualityexpectations and standards.Stand, sit, or walkfor an extended period of time.Reach overheadand below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, andstooping. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighingless than or equal to 25 pounds withoutassistance.Perform other reasonable job dutiesas requested by Supervisors.
