Job details

Prepare special meals orsubstitute items.Regulate temperature ofovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.Pullfood from freezer storage to thaw in therefrigerator.Ensure proper portion,arrangement, and food garnish.Maintain foodlogs.Monitor the quality and quantity of foodthat is prepared.Communicate assistance neededduring busy periods.Inform Chef of excess fooditems for use in daily specials.Inform Food& Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stockmenu items.Ensure the quality of the fooditems.Prepare and cook food according torecipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and foodpreparation checklist.Prepare coldfoods.
