Direct & SuperviseTechnical Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering forCompany's Project to ensure all technical safety and lossprevention engineering requirements such as philosophies, codes,standards and practices are met during projects design development& execution. Provide clear guidance to the EPC contractorand facilitate resolution of technical safety and loss preventionissues to complete discipline activities consistent with projectobjectives and milestonesLead the developmentof the Design Safety Case and associated safety risks deliverablesand ensure these are reviewed and aligned with companyOperations.KeyResponsibilitiesCoordinateTechnical Safety and Loss Prevention Engineering deliverables withContractor personnel, Project Management Team (PMT) and Head ofTechnical Safety and Loss Prevention in sharedresources.Lead / Drive EPC contractor todeliver technical safety studies (e.g. QRA, HAZOPs, , FERA, EERA,QRA studies and PH&RA workshops) as per execution plan.Occasionally lead and facilitate the Formal Risk Assessment (FRA)for the execution activities and stewardship the FRA reportingprocesses.Manage and monitor the TechnicalSafety and Loss Prevention Engineering schedule and criticalmilestones. Develop and manage recovery plans to address anydelays. Support the project by providing clear guidance to closeout appropriate actions associated with Technical Safety and LossPrevention activities such as safety case studies, riskassessments, HAZOPs etc.Provide guidance andinput during detailed design for the Packages, Contractorstrategies/procedures to achieve project Integration objectives asrequired; participate in Offshore Constructability Reviews, SIMOPSetc as required. Support the risk screening process of theSpecification Deviation Request (SDR) that will be raised byvendors and contractor.Stewardcontractors' Loss Prevention execution activities. Adviseon the adequacy of Contractors' safety and risk executionactivities in accordance with projects plans, verify adequacy ofContractor resources and personnel competency for the tasks,employment of appropriate tools including used of approved softwarefor scoped studies.Advise contractor TechnicalSafety organisation with respect to compliance with COMPANYpolicies for prevention of information brokering and businessstandards guidelines; engineering and design procedures, processes,and deliverables; staffing plans, personnel suitability andadequacy and the successful resolution of anyclaims.Supervise and solve technical problemsas they are developing in the various disciplines and initiateappropriate corrective actions. Seek guidance on areas beyondtechnical knowledge and manage implementation ofsolutions.Chair meetings if required tocollect and disseminate information pertaining to Technical Safetyand Loss Prevention engineering actions; advise Management in atimely manner where issues are unable to be resolved and may impactthe project delivery.Oversee the timelydelivery of technical attachments and scope description to allTechnical Safety and Loss Prevention related purchase orders andown related technical attachments and scope description in allfabrication and constructioncontracts.10.Lead the developments of Design Safety Case thatmeets the Project's and OPCO's requirements andensure Technical Integrity Verification (TIV) plan is implemented.Support the Design Performance Standards evolvement into OperatePhase Performance Standards.
