MAIN OBJECTIVES: Manage and control allfinance activities of the station that include authorising, (as perthe manual of authorities), evaluating and implementing corporatefinance decisions in areas covering Revenue, Receivables, Payables,Cash/Banking, Payroll, General Ledger and Taxation. •Plan, organize, direct and control the activities of allsub-ordinates at the station with the objective of achieving highaccounting standards, protecting the company's assetsminimizing cost, setting up modern accounting systems andestablishing a business support function at the outstations.• Manage the implementation of new accounting systems andprocedures as required by headquarters from time to time.• Implement and monitor internal controls in all areas ofthe station. • Responsible for the audit rating of thestation as far as it relates to Finance areas. • Liaisewith all department head at the station/HDQ to provide adequatebusiness support for their areas. • Exercise supervisoryfunctions and exercise financial authority established bymanagement for the position.
