Analyzing building specifications,codes, and sites.Creating technical drawingsfrom architects' sketches andspecifications.Using CAD software to createdrawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations,building codes, and other constructiondetails.Printing CAD drawing schematics foruse by architects, construction managers, and structural andmaintenance engineers.Entering CAD data intobuilding information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3-D modelsand renderings.Preparing drawings, charts, andrecords with CAD equipment and conventional draftingtechniques.Visiting construction sites toperform measurements and calculate dimensions asneeded.
