Checkin/checkout hotel guestscourteously and efficiently; process all payments according toestablished hotel requirements. Provide information and assistanceto all guests and visitors. Maintain complete knowledge of andcomply with all departmental policies service procedures andstandards.Ensure that standards are maintainedat a superior level on a daily basis.Maintaincomplete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Useequipment only as intended.Anticipate guestsneeds respond promptly and acknowledge all guests however busy andwhatever time of day.Maintain positive guestrelations at all times.Resolve guestcomplaints ensuring guest satisfaction.Monitorand maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization of assignedwork areas.Maintain complete knowledge at alltimes of: All hotel features/services hours of operation All roomtypes numbers layout decor appointments and location All room ratesspecial packages and promotions Daily house count and expectedarrivals/departures. Room availability status for any given dayScheduled daily group activities / VIPs.Obtainassigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Keep banksecure at all times.Meet with Supervisor toreview daily assignments and priorities.Accessall functions of computer system. Set up work station withnecessary supplies.Answer department telephonewithin 3 rings using correct greeting and telephoneetiquette.Promote positive guest relations toall individuals approaching the FrontDesk.Process all guest checkins. Confirmreservation in system and review all noted information. For guestswithout a reservation sell a room type agreed upon. Register guestin the computer. Verify reservation information with the guest(departure date room type). Obtain backup information for guestcredit/payment method and input into system; collect cash whendesignated. Assign guest room. Advise guest of any messages mailfaxes etc. received for them. Communicate services and amenities ofthe hotel to guests. Obtain proper identification for tax exemptguests and attach form to registrationcard.Assist with escorting guest andarranging/ transporting their luggage to theroom.Maintain guest history files on allguests.Communicate VIP arrivals to designatedpersonnel for escort and delivery ofamenities.Set up accurate accounts for eachguest checking in according to their requirements (i.e. sharewithsseparate room/tax/incidentalscomp).Accommodate roomchanges.Document all guest requests complaintsor problems. Take record and relay messages accurately completelyand legibly.Accept and record wakeup callrequests. Issue safe deposit boxes to guests and ensure security ofkeys. Distribute all guest and department mail. Monitor send anddistribute guest faxes. Document and confirm reservations andcancellations.Block rooms in computer andfollow through on designatedrequirements.Preregister designated guests andprepare key packets.Communicate pertinentguest information to designated departments/personnel (i.e. specialrequests amenity delivery).Generate print anddistribute daily and weekly reports.Resolvediscrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping. Matchthe bucket check to inhouse guest ledger report; reportdiscrepancies to Manager.Process allcheckouts. Resolve any late charges.Presentfolio to guest and resolve any disputed charges. Settle guestaccounts.Inquire with guests for comments ontheir stay.Process express checkouts. Handlerequests for late checkouts. Conduct groupcheckins/outs.Assist alldepartments/executives in obtaining appropriate informationregarding groups inventory and guestinformation.Adhere to all cashieringprocedures: Process adjustment vouchers paidouts correctionvouchers miscellaneous charges Make change for guests Cash guestspersonal checks/travelers checks Post charges Run closing reportsCount and secure bank Complete designated cashier reports Balancereceipts Drop receipts.Document pertinentinformation in the log book/ Software system /Front DeskChecklist.Remote Work : No
