The Head of Primary School will beresponsible for managing all staff, Programme/curriculum contentand assessment for the school and will also support in the academicmanagement of the school.Should be able tocontinue to help us to raise the standards of teaching &learning, leading & promoting outstanding teaching on aday-to-day basis.Can work effectively withother school leaders, helping to promote and embed theschool's mission and visionstatements.Can balance their operational andstrategic responsibilities on a day to day basis, ensuringsuccessful outcomes always.Should be a greatcommunicator and able to forge excellent relationships with allstakeholders, parents, staff and pupilsSupportand implement the School's Vision & Mission andSchool Improvement Plan with clarity andcommitments.Be able to drive excellence inteaching and learning throughout the primary years. You will placegreat value on students and staff and will be focussed on thedevelopment of your team.You should haveexperience of leading and managing high performing teams ineducation, ensuring appropriate levels of accountability. Providingamazing learning experiences for all students will be at the top ofyour agenda and you will have a thirst for keeping up to date withcurrent U.K. research based pedagogicalthinking.Review and further develop thepastoral systems in the School to ensure a smooth transitionbetween phases.
