Job Summary Purpose of MDTS (Market Development Technical Support) is to succesfully deploy new products to the market. MDTS agronomist shares this purpose with four clear objectives to fulfull the purpose. 1) Conduct agronomic and other trials to provide evidence of VP to support and develop marketing materials for product launch 2) Drive and support business in premarketing and sales to customers of new products 3) contribute to the product development process in accolade and provide product development agronomy and market development support 4) Build the capabilities of MDTS shared agronomy platform customer needs identification innovation pipeline and standard process to commercialization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and manage the MDTS agronomy database (ARM system).
  • Support MDTS regional agronomist and regional sales with internal VP training and customer presentations.
  • Design implement and report on field trials for value proposition determination and evidence.
  • Participate in the accolade process for Technical Review Economic review Research Plan and Resource.
Requirements:
  • This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
  • Bachelors degree in Agricultural Science Soil Science or Agronomy.
  • 510 years of experience practicing agronomy with extensive exposure to product development processes.
  • Advanced working knowledge in soil fertility crop nutrition and soil nutrient management.
  • Proven expertise in a scientific discipline preferably in soil science or chemistry demonstrated through a doctoral degree and/or publication of relevant scientific papers.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and using appropriate methods and software.
  • Excellent laboratory experience including development and adaptation of chemical analysis methods.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to continuously improve and learn new knowledge and skills.
  • Willingness to engage in fieldwork.
  • High capability to learn and develop other employees.
  • Organize and carry out fertilizer research experiments with objectives including:
    1. Development of new fertilizer grades.
    2. Development of new methods for This Company fertilizer application.
    3. Improvement of This Company fertilizer products.
    4. Development of fertilizer programs.
  • Competencies in agronomy including trial/experiment design execution analysis reporting training and marketing.
  • Collaboration in ongoing research projects focusing on integrated soilplant management soil fertility and nutrient supply fertilizers and fertilization efficiency sustainability and environmental issues.
  • Work closely with T&I researchers to develop new fertilizer products.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with individuals from the fertilizer business to expand the product portfolio.
