About the Company Our client is a large multi-sector engineering design consultancy, providing a full range of design, engineering and project management services for buildings, transportation and other infrastructure programmes. Well established in the Middle East, they are one of the most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies with a reputation within the defense sector. About the Role Our client is seeking a Structures Director to join and lead their design team in Dubai, UAE or Riyadh, KSA. As the Structures Director you will play a pivotal role in the structural design process from concept to completion. Responsibilities will involve advising on technical matters in core discipline, managing quality and technical compliance, monitoring work and liaising with consultants, contractors and other disciplines at all levels. Experience on multi-disciplinary multi discipline design projects Middle East is desirable. You must have knowledge of design standards, and health and safety practices in the Middle East. You will have demonstrable leadership skills, commercial awareness, administrative skills and delegation, negotiation and presentation skills.
