Job details
Responsible for installation analysisactivities associated with subsea engineering including but willnot be limited to transportation and installation ofPLET's, PLEM's, ILT's and Manifoldsand the analysis of installation of Flexibles flow-lines,Umbilicals, risers and Rigid Spools (SURF). •Perform hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis for the differentoffshore installation activities.• Performhydrostatic and hydrodynamic analysis for subsea structureinstallation,• Develop design capability(stability, hydrostatic hydrodynamics, hull, mooring, installationengineering, DP).• Prepare naval deliverables(procedures, notes, technical reports).• Highaccuracy level in delivered analysis results required in order todevelop safe and robust installationmethodologies.• The engineer will be exposed topractical offshore experiences and best practices for offshoreinstallation of SURF and structures, this knowledge should then beused for subsequent projects. This provides a constant loop ofimprovement to obtain more accurate results. •Interface with other disciplines, giving feedback oninstall-ability and design.• Offshore supportand real time analysis for the on-going installationactivities.• Write technical project documents(installation engineering memo and installation analysisreports).• Liaise with Project Teams forproject data, installation feasibility, reporting toclient.• Liaise with Project Team to clarifyaspects of the work and complete tasks within the agreedtimeframe.• Liaise with Project Team and clientto clarify installation analysis concerns.•Complete all tasks set by the Supervisor and assisting whereverpossible.• Observe existing engineeringmethodologies and techniques and offering suggestions forimprovement.• Conduct research and collectdata.• Observe health and safety guidelines atall times.• Attend meetings andworkshops.• Work closely with Engineering Teamto foster professional values and build goodrelationships.• Work with multiple disciplineprojects and monitor fieldwork activities;•Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies,performance standards and specifications;
