As the Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Club's governance, risk, and compliance framework. You will work closely with senior management to ensure that the Club operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing policies and procedures, monitoring compliance, and providing training to staff members. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance principles, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities • Develop and implement a comprehensive governance, risk, and compliance program for the Club. • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. • Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures as necessary. • Manage and coordinate internal and external audits. • Provide training to staff members on governance, risk management, and compliance matters. • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Prepare and present reports on governance, risk, and compliance activities to senior management. • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance governance, risk, and compliance processes. Desired Candidate Profile • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. • Master's degree is preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in governance, risk management, or compliance roles. • Strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance principles and practices. • Experience in developing and implementing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Professional certification in governance, risk, and compliance (e.g., CGRC, CRMA, CCEP) is preferred. • Experience in the sports or entertainment industry is a plus.
