Our client, a prominent global technology, defense, and engineering company, is actively seeking a Technical Director to join their team. Renowned for applying technology and innovation to address real-world challenges, the company has earned a stellar global reputation for excellence and trust. The role is based in Doha - Qatar. Responsibilities ● Provide technical leadership and direction to technical managers and architects in a cross discipline project spanning software, server, network, cloud and operational environment ● Liaising with clients, managers and project stake holders. ● Develop plans, schedules and targets with teams ● Report project progress to steering committee, stake holders and senior management ● Monitor development, design and implementation progress, ensuring quality and project performance ● Inspiring teams to deliver in tight timelines ● Making reports and conduct effective technical communications & presentations to stake holders and senior management. ● Identify and mitigate technical risks ● Work in an office and at project site Requirements/Skills ● Possess both leadership and technical skills to manage complex IT and OT integration , in an international environment. ● At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role and served as technical architect in more than two projects. ● Large scale systems integration project experience with more than 3 sub-system teams. ● Excellent interpersonal communication skills and is able to present well in project steering committee, and good at senior management updates ● Able to use own initiative to move project in a complex environment ● Experience with software deployment, IT, OT, network and cybersecurity system integration project with BCM requirements. ● Understand system safety and workplace safety ● Thorough and pay attention to details #J-18808-Ljbffr
