Piping Engineer - Oil Â and Gas Operating Company - UAE Â  We are looking for a Â Piping Engineer for an oil and gas Operating Company based in Â UAE. Responsibilities: -Deliver Health Safety and Environment (HSE) performance ensuring no harm to People, Asset, Environment and Reputation of the Company. Embed safety leadership culture for self, team members and contractor for all maintenance activities. Promote strong behavioural safety interactions culture and actively participate in Safety observations. -Prioritisation and management of risk-ranked anomalies as identified by Asset & Integrity Department to ensure effective implementation and reduce the risk of loss of containment. -Arrange drafting, materials and fabrication required for anomalies / MCDR's rectification. -Review / verify engineering drawings to ensure they are compliant with relevant codes prior to being issued as ‘approved for construction'. -Issue work pack / work instruction to offshore prior to execution phase. -Work closely with the planning department to help populate all anomalies / MCDRs related activities into the offshore look-ahead plans (28 and 90 days) and ensure work scope is aligned with major equipment outages where possible to minimise production losses. Â  -Participate in regular Asset and Operating Integrity Assurance Department (A&OIA) Key Performance Indicator (KPI) meetings. -Close out anomalies / MCDRs. -Liaise with relevant Technical Authority and A&OIA to determine repair solutions. -Ensure that the best practices in repair method, technology, techniques and innovation are developed and implemented to reduce production downtime, cost, and resources as far as possible. -Monitor and track progress of anomalies / MCDR scopes of work of Contractors to identify any concerns and deal with these in an appropriate manner. Â  -Provide supervision for site execution to ensure quality and progress of work from time to time. Candidate profile: -Relevant engineering degree. Preferably Professional or Chartered Engineer status or working towards this status. - Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position. -Strong skills demonstrated in project management, leadership and contractor management. -Demonstrated subject knowledge and competence. -Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. -Excellent in data control / management, reporting.
