Function Corporate Shared Services Department IT Reports to (Position title) IT Manager  Â  2. Job Purpose / Objective An IT Specialist manages all computer server operations, Databases, Network and related technologies that include performance, availability, software maintenance, capacity planning, recoverability, and problem resolution.  Â  3. Responsibilities and Duties • Provides complex technical support in systems administration including installation,configuration and maintenance of enterprise software, applications, databases, andservers; researches, troubleshoots and resolves problems related to identitymanagement, email, mobile devices, internet issues, document management, systemsavailability or performance, or related issues; ensures appropriate security measuresare in place for individuals and departments; installs and configures network operatingsystems. Coordinates with help desk staff to ensure documentation is complete andprepares status reports as necessary.• Responsible for developing and administering disaster recovery plans related toinformation systems and identifies system critical data within departments to ensuresustained operations in accordance with the TAQA Business Continuity Plan developdocument management systems and establish and maintain regularly scheduledbackups of all stored data as required by specific regulations and policies.• Design, Implement, and manage cybersecurity measures to protect an organization'ssystems and data.  Â   Â   Â  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities andrecommend remediation strategies.• Monitor and analyze security incidents, responding promptly to mitigate potentialthreats.• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Team to implement and maintain security controls,including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitiveinformation.• Investigate and respond to security breaches, coordinating with incident responseteams when necessary.• Performed Project Management assignments related to the development, analysis,modification, tracking, and implementation of information processing standards.• Coordinated successful network upgrades and installations through adherence of ITbest practices and corporate project management methodologies.• Perform routine system updates, patches, and security fixes.• Generate reports on system performance, security status, and incident responses.• Work on disaster recovery drills and resolve any raised findings with Cybersecurityteam on resolving bulletins that are being received by Saudi National CybersecurityStandards and Saudi Aramco.• Ensure compliance of IT requirements that are related to cybersecurity policies andstandards.• Perform patch and security configuration activities to ensure servers and databasesunder management are properly secured and up to date.• Monitor health, performance, and operational trends to proactively identify issuesbefore they become incidents.• Manage and maintain the SCCM/Intune environment(s) including creation andmaintenance of images.• Support tickets and manage incidents, service requests, and problems through theirfull life cycle.• Build, configure and maintain Windows servers 2016 and 2019 on physical and virtualhosts.• Work in hybrid multi-location operations team administering existing productionenvironment.• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and management of On Prem & Azure ActiveDirectory, DNS, DHCP, and file/print.•  Â  4.
