Overview AIQ is a new joint venture company between ADNOC and Group 42, which focuses on developing artificial intelligence technologies in the United Arab Emirates. AIQ develops and commercializes AI products and applications for the oil and gas industry. It aims in providing end-to-end solutions by using its data, cloud and talents to develop AI solutions that seek to reduce costs and generate revenue for its clients. Responsibilities Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop strategy and implement to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our platform
- Monitoring and observability of our platform
- Advocate for automation for different parts of our platform
- Plan, implement and support CICD pipelines with self-managed open source tools
- Deploy and operate solutions at prototype and beta stage
- Match and communicate requirements and capabilities between development team and infrastructure partner
- Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant field
- Bachelor’s +7-8 years’ experience or Master’s + 5 years experiences
- Proficient leadership and communication skills
- Ability to proactively prioritize workloads, working both independently and as leader of a team
- Linux/unix, docker, kubernetes
- Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines or Github Actions
- AWS, Azure, GCP or similar tool stack/public cloud
- Git based integration and delivery workflows
- Experience from product-based companies (preferred)
- Experience with live production systems (preferred)
- Networking on all layers
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- OpenStack, terraform, Helm Chart (preferred)
- Data engineering
- Operation of collaboration tools like jira, etherpad, jitsi, nextcloud etc
- Experience in monitoring tools
- Experience in logging tools
