What You’ll Do: · Develop and implement location-specific engineering strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. · Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve high performance and excellence. · Establish performance metrics, monitor progress, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement. · Oversee the engineering activities across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and Maintenance, to optimize production, minimize downtime, and enhance operational efficiency. · Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex engineering challenges, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. · Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the development and implementation of new technologies and engineering practices to enhance productivity and cost efficiency. · Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. · Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports. · Mentor and coach engineers, supporting their career development and identifying opportunities for advancement. · Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective teamwork and knowledge sharing across the engineering department. · Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines in all engineering activities. · Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards associated with engineering operations, implementing appropriate control measures. · Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. · Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging engineering practices, evaluating their relevance to the company's operations. What You’ll Bring: · Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. · Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on engineering management and operations. · Proven track record of successfully leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams. · Strong technical expertise in oil and gas engineering principles, practices, and technologies. · In-depth knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards. · Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. · Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
