Job details
We are seeking a skilled and highly driven Senior Logistic Executive with prior freight forwarding background expertise to join our clients dynamic team. You will be responsible for monitoring the logistics departments daily operations and ensuring that all tasks are performed in a timely and costeffective manner. The ideal candidate for this role must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Main Responsibilities to include:
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and costeffective transportation of goods
- Negotiate with vendors to obtain favorable terms
- Collaborate with the procurement and finance departments to ensure a smooth flow of the process
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for the organizations logistical activities
- Analyze and improve means of transportation services
- Oversee inventory management and shipping activities
- Track the flow of products to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare route and monitor purchase orders and shipment materials
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with shipping companies suppliers and retailers
- Analyze the data and identify process setbacks
Requirements
- Experience handling trade lanes (IRAQ) is required
- Knowledgeable of UAE Customs Regulations
- Indepth knowledge of incoterms and their applications
- A valid UAE drivers license is advantageous
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
