We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.OverviewWe are seeking a Heavy Lift Engineer to join the Engineering & Technical Support Division of Mobility & Logistic Services Department. The Engineering & Technical Support Division is responsible for providing engineering consolations on critical heavy lift activities in support of Aramco operating hydrocarbon facilities. Heavy lift engineers are responsible to provide credible and specialized engineering analysis to advise on the most optimum and cost-effective methods of utilizing required large sized heavy lifting equipment that is required for plant critical operations. The division is also the corporate entity that oversee all heavy equipment company procedures and policies. It also supports the technical investigation of all incidents that are related to heavy equipment operations. The heavy lift engineer primary role is to perform heavy lift engineering duties which include: provide heavy lift engineering consultations, evaluate lifting requirements, review heavy lift engineering technical packages and participate in incidents investigations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to perform the following: Assess site lifting requirements. Provide engineering consolations on the most suitable crane/equipment type. Perform technical reviews for lifting methodologies. Your knowledge should include deep understanding of the international standards and regulations for cranes/heavy equipment operation. Assess mechanical activities to evaluate lifting needs. Should have a solid understanding of related engineering disciplines including structural, mechanical and civil engineering.Minimum RequirementsAs the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree in Engineering [Preferred Mechanical/Civil Engineering] from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred. You will have a minimum of ten years of experience in [specialized heavy lift engineering field]. You will be able to demonstrate engineering technical capabilities in conducting heavy lift engineering assessment to identify all lifting requirements including "but not limited to" site conditions, equipment selection, crane configuration. Candidate is preferred to be an appointed person certified by accredited organization (e.g. LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineering Association), or equivalent). You must be able to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate highly technical engineering matters with related corporate organization.
