Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.Job Purpose: We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Sous Chef – Pastryto join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, precision, and leadership to support the Executive Pastry Chef in overseeing all pastry operations, maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.Responsibilities: Assist in the day-to-day management of the pastry kitchen Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry chefs and team members Oversee production of desserts, breads, cakes, and petit fours for various outlets and functions Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of all pastry items Contribute to seasonal menu development and bespoke dessert offerings Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with HACCP and hotel policies Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and control food costs within budget Qualifications & Competencies: Minimum 3–5 years of pastry experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment Diploma or certification in pastry arts or culinary arts (preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Proven eye for detail and a creative flair for modern and classic desserts Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks Knowledge of French pastry techniques, chocolate work, and plated desserts What’s In It for you?One of the most iconic place to be and work Amazing learning and development program Discounted rates at The Ned Doha Fantastic career growth opportunities At The NED, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
