Senior Public Health Engineer

Qualified graduate engineer in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering. Master’s Degree or Chartered Engineering status is a plus. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in engineering consultancy firms. Business Development Begin to establish contacts with clients and team members, and build relationships that may benefit future projects. Project Role Able to represent the practice at the project level. Demonstrate responsibility for project delivery. Manage the design and construction stages of projects. Supervise a small team of engineers and technicians. Typically serve as Project Engineer on various projects; on major or complex projects, may take the role of Design Engineer. Responsible for delivering work within the agreed fee and timeline with a Project Manager. Core responsibilities include: - Delivering tasks on time and within fee. Ensuring task profitability and quality. Preparing client and project proposals. Presenting to clients and negotiating fee proposals, requesting additional fees when appropriate. Constructing project teams from internal and external resources. Procure project resources. Aiming for 95% chargeable time. Company Role Understand our Business plan, mission statement, and key challenges. Contribute to developing company procedures by participating in task groups. Attend team meetings and actively contribute to procedural development. Review and comment on company procedures using the feedback system. Apply policies related to health & safety, quality, and training. Review and comment on deliverables produced by Engineers & Technicians at key project stages. Demonstrate comprehensive technical competence. Possess knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment, and claim assessment. Have knowledge of analytical concepts. Be responsible for Quality Management (QA) within the team. Understand our standards for CAD and 3D working. QHSE Responsibilities Understand, implement, and follow 9E QHSE policies. Coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace. Comply with local regulatory guidelines and laws related to QHSE. Report any QHSE incidents immediately to the 9E QHSE Department and legal authorities if necessary.
