Ramboll has been growing since 1945, aiming to create a positive impact globally.You will join our Building Department As a Senior Engineer in Electrical for Buildings, you'll be part of our global High-Rise and Complex Buildings team, with experience in over 200 tall building projects worldwide. You will work with engineers in Dubai and support our global offices in India, the UK, Singapore, and more.You will report to the Department Head and be part of the Middle East Buildings Team.Key Responsibilities include: Leading electrical discipline on projects Guiding engineers and design teams Ensuring health & safety, quality, and training policies are applied Additional responsibilities: Acting as discipline lead on projects Leading MEP for small to medium projects Developing design philosophies Ensuring design documentation accuracy and coordination Attending meetings and preparing reports Coordinating with design team members and stakeholders Applying buildability and construction knowledge Demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills Maintaining attention to detail, teamwork, and organization Managing project finances and client inquiries Communicating effectively Embedding health & safety in all practices Technical Skills / Knowledge: Carrying out calculations and analyses Knowledge of BIM, digitalization, and standards Proficiency in MS Office, Amtech, Dialux Evo, Auto CAD, REVIT, Navisworks Understanding of design standards and local regulations Expertise in LV, Lighting, ELV, and FLS design Sustainable design practices Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and public health principles Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Building Services or Electrical Engineering Chartered membership (preferred)Current SOE and Dubai Municipality registration or eligibility Minimum 8 years of experience, with 5 in the Middle East Proven track record in building services design across sectors Experience as a project engineer on multiple projects What we offer: Career growth opportunities Dynamic team environment Innovative and flexible culture Personal Attributes: Commercial acumen Technical capability and delivery Adaptability and learning Influencing skills Communication and presentation skills Results-oriented mindset About Ramboll: With over 1,500 experts across 15 offices in Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Africa, Ramboll specializes in diverse markets including Buildings, Transport, Water, Environment, and Energy.
