Since 1945, we have grown into a global company that positively impacts societies and individuals worldwide.You will join our Building Department As a Senior Engineer Electrical, Buildings, you will be part of our High-Rise and Complex Buildings department, which has designed over 200 tall building projects globally. You will work with engineers on design projects in Dubai and support our global team, including offices in India, the UK, Singapore, and other locations.Job Description You will be part of the Middle East Buildings Team, reporting to the Department Head.Key Responsibilities: Lead electrical discipline on projects Guide and develop engineers and design teams Apply policies related to health & safety, quality, and training Specific responsibilities include: Act as discipline lead on projects, ensuring high-quality delivery Lead MEP for small to medium projects Develop design philosophies and oversee project stages Ensure design documentation accuracy and coordination Participate in meetings, prepare presentations and reports Coordinate with other design team members, clients, and authorities Understand buildability and construction techniques Apply critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills Maintain attention to detail, teamwork, and organization Manage project financials and client inquiries Communicate effectively in writing and verbally Embed health & safety into all work practices Technical Skills / Knowledge: Proficiency in calculations, problem-solving, and analyses Knowledge of BIM, digitalization standards Strong software skills: MS Office, Amtech, Dialux Evo, Strikerisk, Auto CAD, REVIT, Navisworks Familiarity with local and international standards: BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPAKnowledge of local regulations in UAE and KSAExpertise in LV, Lighting, ELV, and FLS design Sustainable design practices Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, and public health principles Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's in Building Services or Electrical Engineering Chartered membership (preferred)Current SOE and Dubai Municipality registration or eligibility Minimum 8 years of experience, 5 in the Middle East Proven track record in building services design across sectors Experience as a project engineer, client presentations, and project planning What We Offer: Career growth and development opportunities Dynamic, expanding team in the Middle East Innovative and flexible culture Personal Attributes: Leadership, collaboration, commercial acumen, technical capability Adaptability, persuasion, communication, results-oriented Additional Information: Ramboll operates across Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Africa with over 1,500 experts.
