You will take full ownership of product development, from initial concept and design through to sample execution, while ensuring fit, fabric, and detailing align with the brand’s standard of excellence and storytelling ethos.Key Responsibilities Design & Development Research global and regional menswear trends, consumer behavior, and seasonal fabric innovations to inspire design decisions.Develop collection concepts aligned with Mannerism’s core identity and seasonal narratives Design product ranges across all categories: formal shirts, polos, trousers, denim, outerwear, and seasonal capsules Prepare detailed tech packs with flat sketches, fabrications, measurements, trims, and stitching details Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and finishes that match design intent and seasonal relevance Sampling & Prototyping Communicate design specs to suppliers and factories, ensuring sample accuracy Evaluate sample fits and aesthetics; iterate based on feedback and test results Ensure consistent size grading and fit blocks across all categories and collections Collaborate with merchandising team to align designs with costing and commercial viability Brand Alignment & Detailing Maintain signature Mannerism elements across styles (e.g., pleat placements, cuff treatments, button choices)Help evolve the product DNA with subtle but strong design consistency Stay aware of luxury finish standards, internal quality benchmarks, and international design cues Day-to-Day Operational Tasks·Update and manage tech pack library·Coordinate with vendors for approvals (fabrics, trims, lab dips, etc.)·Document all design iterations and sample stages with feedback·Organize and archive sample collections, swatches, and trims·Support in reviewing final pre-production samples before bulk approval Qualifications & Skills·Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent·3+ years of experience in menswear design, ideally in premium or contemporary segments·Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and sizing·Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel (CLO3D or CAD skills are a plus)·Experience working with overseas suppliers and manufacturers·Passion for design, detail, and storytelling KPIs / Performance Metrics·Timely delivery of tech packs & sample rounds·Sample approval accuracy (1st/2nd round success rate)·Fit consistency across sizes·Factory satisfaction on clarity of communication·Internal team satisfaction on creativity & commercial alignment Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries Retail Apparel and Fashion Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Mannerism by 2x Get notified about new Fashion Designer jobs in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Master Tailor For Women And Men - 10 years experience minimum Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 16 hours ago We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
