With a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of lighting technologies and design software, the Senior Lighting Designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to deliver innovative lighting solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards.Responsibilities Develop innovative and aesthetically pleasing lighting design concepts for various projects.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to create cohesive project plans.Conduct site inspections to ensure lighting designs are implemented correctly and effectively.Prepare and present detailed light fixture layouts and specifications to clients and stakeholders.Stay updated with the latest lighting technologies and design trends to provide cutting-edge solutions.Oversee the selection and procurement of lighting fixtures and related equipment for projects.Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and installation of lighting systems.Conduct evaluations and propose modifications to optimize lighting performance and energy efficiency.Mentor and provide guidance to junior lighting designers and design assistants.Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards in all lighting projects.Manage project budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of lighting projects.Maintain strong client relationships and effectively communicate design concepts and project updates.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.A minimum of five years of experience in lighting design or a similar role.Proficiency in design software such as Auto CAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong understanding of the principles of lighting design and color theory.Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all design aspects.Professional certification in lighting design (CLD or IALD) is considered an advantage.Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.Disclaimer: Naukrigulf.com is only a platform to bring jobseekers & employers together.
