Solution Architect – Io T, Smart Cities & Full Stack Development Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions across Io T, Smart Cities, and Smart Parks. This role requires deep technical expertise across Azure Cloud, Dev Ops, Io T platforms, and full-stack development using React, Type Script, Node.js, and Postgre SQL. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a hands-on problem solver, and an effective stakeholder communicator.Key Responsibilities Architect end-to-end technical solutions for Io T and Smart City/Park initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Define and drive the adoption of best practices in SDLC, Dev Ops, and cloud-native development using Azure and Git Lab.Lead the design and implementation of web and mobile applications using React, Type Script, Java Script, Node.js, and Postgre SQL.Integrate Io T platforms like Cumulocity or similar, including managing Io T protocols (MQTT, Co AP, Lw M2M, etc.) and device management.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.Create and maintain architectural documentation, system diagrams, and data flow models.Support the development and integration of smart infrastructure projects (e.g., environmental sensors, smart lighting, smart mobility).Lead mobile application development for i OS and Android platforms (e.g., with React Native).Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and industry-specific standards.Mentor engineering teams and drive innovation across the tech stack.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles.Proven experience in Azure Cloud architecture and services (Io T Hub, Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, Application Gateway, Firewall, Kubernetes, Azure AD, AD B2C, Front Door, Postgre SQL, Notification Hub, Communication Services, ARM Templates etc.,).Strong expertise in Dev Ops practices, CI/CD, and pipeline automation using Git Lab.Design and deploy CMS architectures leveraging Strapi (self-hosted and serverless), integrating content workflows into broader digital platforms.Solid understanding of Io T architecture, edge computing, and device-to-cloud communication.Hands-on experience with Io T Platforms.Full-stack development background with React, Type Script, Java Script, and Node.js.Experience in SQL and No SQL and general database design and optimization.Knowledge of Io T protocols (MQTT, Co AP, Lw M2M, HTTP).Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (Agile, Scrum).Act as technical lead across SDLC stages—from concept and design through to implementation and support.Experience in mobile application development (React Native or similar) and deployment.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as Azure Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Io T Developer, or related.Background in Smart City, urban mobility, or public infrastructure technology projects.Familiarity with AI/ML integration, Io T analytics, and real-time data processing.Knowledge of serverless architecture, API gateway design, and microservices best practices.Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Dicetek LLC by 2x Get notified about new Solutions Architect jobs in Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 6 hours ago Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates 5 hours ago Senior Solution Architect - Digital Products Senior Solution Architect - Banking Technology Principal Technical Architect - Big Data Senior Solutions Architect, Middle East ( Dubai )We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
